TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Payment Terms
All lessons, packages, and digital products must be paid in advance. Payments are non‑refundable except where required by law or at the discretion of the owner. Rates are subject to change with advance notice.
1. Scheduling of Lessons
Lessons are conducted at the mutually agreed‑upon weekly time. Students are expected to arrive promptly. Lessons will conclude at the scheduled end time regardless of late arrival. The instructor reserves the right to adjust the schedule with reasonable notice.
2. Cancellations and Missed Lessons
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or lessons for which the student does not attend, will be charged in full. Make‑up lessons may be offered at the instructor’s discretion but are not guaranteed. If the instructor must cancel a lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited.
4. Student Responsibilities
Students are responsible for bringing all required materials, including instrument, music, and accessories. Regular practice is expected to ensure progress. For minors, a parent or guardian must remain reachable during the lesson period.
5. Instructor Responsibilities
The instructor will provide structured, professional instruction and maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. The instructor will communicate goals, expectations, and practice guidance clearly.
6. Online Lesson Requirements
Students must maintain a stable internet connection and functional audio/video equipment. The instructor is not responsible for technical issues on the student’s end. If technical difficulties prevent a full lesson, the instructor may offer a partial credit at their discretion.
7. Health and Safety (In‑Person Lessons)
Students must not attend lessons if ill. The instructor may end a lesson early if a student arrives visibly sick. The instructor may implement health and safety measures as needed.
8. Digital Products (Scores, E‑Books, Courses, Videos)
All digital products are delivered electronically upon receipt of payment. Digital products are non‑refundable due to immediate access. All downloads are licensed for personal use only and may not be shared, copied, redistributed, or uploaded to any platform. Course and video access may require a login; access duration will be stated at the time of purchase. All digital materials remain the intellectual property of the creator. Students are responsible for ensuring their device can open PDFs, videos, or course materials. Updated versions may be provided at the instructor’s discretion.
9. Media, Recording, and Privacy
Recording of lessons, whether audio or video, is not permitted without the instructor’s and/or the student’s/parent’s consent. Photos, videos, or recordings of students will not be used for promotional purposes without explicit permission.
10. Liability
The instructor is not liable for injuries resulting from improper instrument use, lack of supervision outside the lesson, or failure to follow instructions. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising minors before and after lessons.
11. Termination of Lessons
Either party may discontinue lessons with reasonable notice. All outstanding balances must be paid prior to termination if discontinued by student (or student parent). Partial pro-rated payments are credited back if lessons are discontinued by instructor.
